what SHOULD I WEAR?
We will chat about this during your consultation and planning session, but I encourage you to bring your favorite outfit, something casual, something formal, and any sport or hobby clothing that you want to incorporate. Wear whatever brings out your personality!
WHERE SHOULD WE SHOOT?
I am available to travel within a 30 mile drive of Aspen. I encourage you to pick locations that are meaningful to you, not just the same park that everyone else has their senior photos taken at.
HOW LONG OF A SESSION DO I NEED?
This is totally up to you! Are you looking for multiple locations, a bunch of different outfit changes and a variety of images and products? Or maybe you want to keep it simple, short and sweet? We have different sessions to fit your style and personality.
CAN I PURCHASE THE DIGITAL FILES?
I understand the importance of having both prints and digital files. All print/product purchases include a same-size digital file of each image purchased (and a print release!)
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY SESSION?
The sooner the better! Most seniors have their portraits taken during the summer between their Junior and Senior year.
WHAT IF I’M NERVOUS?
Its totally natural to feel some nerves for the first few minutes of your shoot, but I’ll have you relaxed, laughing, and working it in no time!
CAN I BRING SOMEONE TO THE SHOOT?
Absolutely! I encourage at least one parent to be present for the shoot and if you’d like a friend to tag along, they are more than welcome!
HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL YOU TAKE?
During your shoot, I will take several hundred images capturing a variety of poses, expressions and compositions. From there, I cull (or edit) down to 40-50 images to show you during your viewing session. I know, it seems like a lot, but I will help to guide you to choose your favorites that will ordered for your prints, album, or wall art.
CAN I USE THE PHOTOS ON SOCIAL MEDIA?
Of course! I totally encourage you to show off your images in every medium possible! I just ask that you don’t apply any funky cropping or filters to your images.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY SESSION FEE?
The session fee includes your time in front of the camera and one viewing/ordering session. This does not include any prints or products.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Session fees range from $100 to $350. Print packages begin at $470 and go up from there. My average senior client spends around $1,500 on their senior portrait experience. Interest free payment plans are available.
